Not even a day in and I've already accomplished something. The door to the pantry and basement fell off its hinge Thursday. Adams suggested longer screws. So Walker and I went to the hardware store and got some new screws (below). The old hole were kind of a mess though and didn't even hold the new screws very well, so I used an old trick where you break off a bunch of good quality toothpicks in the holes, then put your screws in. The end result (below right) isn't pretty, but it works.
