Day 14
Up at seven. Walker actually slept that late and was very happy when he got up. That made for a very nice morning.
Today, we all went to Maplewood, NJ to see my cousin graduate from elementary school. They sang three songs, recited poems, talked about what they wanted to do for a living, and some other things. It was really very nice. We stayed out there and had dinner with the family. Great day.
Song of the Day: our first repeat. I hate to admit it, but that damn Let it Whip song was still stuck in my head this morning. My uncle suggested I listen to Gang of Four though, so I'll give that a try tomorrow and perhaps we can get something original into the rotation.
If you're following the sailing saga, you'll be happy to know that my lessons have been rescheduled for the next two weekends. It's not ideal since it won't leave anytime to do some sailing with the family once the lessons are done, but at least I'll get them done during my sabbatical.
